AT least four separate inquiries have been launched intoย theย deaths of two railway workers, who were struck and killed by a coal train inย theย NSW Hunter Valley yesterday.
Theย men were wearing brightly coloured safety vests atย theย time ofย theย accident and there has been no official explanation forย thedeaths.
Theย two men, whose names have not been released, were walking along rail tracks when they were struck by a northbound train shortly before 6am. They died atย theย scene.
An ambulance spokesman said that although they arrived atย theย scene shortly afterย theย accident,ย theย men were already dead.
